About

David Geber has been an adjunct professor with the Psychology Department since 2007. Previous to that, David was part of the Groundbreaking Wizards Program here at Mercy, as an Online Teaching Assistant. David also served as a Graduate Men's Assistant Basketball Coach from 2004-2007. After 25 years in Customer Relations at PepsiCo, David left in 2025 and has been more than excited to be back teaching in the classroom ever since.

Professor Geber started as an online Wizard Assistant Professor for Statistics For The Behavioral Sciences and Experimental Psychology and later began teaching those both online and in the classroom. David's first class was Health Psychology at the Bronx Campus. David has used his experiences to teach other classes online such as Sports Psychology, Psychology of Learning, and Drugs Alcohol and Behavior. 

Prof Geber recently led the Course Section of Statistics For the Behavioral Sciences that used a STEM Grant for PLTL (Peer-Led Team Learning) Tutoring.
